Glee Make Your Own Chocolate Kit {Review}

Posted in News

Since the weather is so rainy today, I decided to try the Glee kit  to make our own chocolate (RV $13).  We won this on a blog giveaway.

The set up was really easy and my 3 and 5 year olds really enjoyed seeing the process of how chocolate can be made at home.  I like that they included a couple of cocoa beans, so that we could see “where chocolate comes from.”  The cocoa beans tasted pretty bad, even just a little nibble was very bitter.  This was a good learning experience for the kids, so they could see that chocolate doesn’t start out so delicious.

Our finished product was really good.  We added marshmellows and peanut butter.  The entire process took about 30 minutes, including the 15 minutes the chocolates took to cool.  Overall, we enjoyed this kit and I would purchase Glee products in the future.
